The Backlight Current – Dimmed test measures the

current of the LCD backlight assembly when operating

in a dimmed mode. This test verifies proper operation

of the bulbs, power inverter and dimming circuits.

The Backlight Current – Max test measures the current

of the LCD backlight assembly when operating in

maximum brightness mode. This test verifies proper

operation of the bulbs, power inverter and dimming

circuits.

Photocell Value

(Ambient Light

Sensor)

The Photocell Value test measures the external

ambient light sensor and compares with an acceptable

range of values.

Battery Voltage The Battery Voltage test measures the internal battery

and verifies that it is within acceptable limits. The

battery is used to maintain system time and date

settings in the event of a loss of power.

Board Revision The Board Revision test is informational only and

diagnostic purposes only.

Watchdog The Watchdog test verifies correct functionality of the

hardware watchdog reset circuits. These circuits are

event of a software malfunction.

of the RS-485 serial transmitters and receivers. On-

board relays loop back transmitter outputs and receiver
